This class is for people that have taken multiple beginner classes and are comfortable centering and throwing basic forms on the pottery wheel. Students at this level will continue to work on previous skills.
The instructor may choose to demonstrate a skill or challenge. Students can decide whether they would like to participate or work on an individual project with help from the instructor. Challenges may include teapots, covered jars, juicers, quick skill building tasks, etc.
Students typically complete around 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze.
Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes.

☀️ Summer Super Session: June 13th- August 30th This summer we are offering a flex opportunity for students. Session fee includes attending 6 classes and 6 open studio sessions. to demo certain forms and help with skill building.The other Monday dates are available for open studio 6 pass use. Lesson demos will be recorded and available to students to use at open studio times if they wish. An instructor will be available for the following dates to demo certain forms and help with skill building:
Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm June 18, 25, July 9, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 27. The other Tuesday dates are available for open studio 6-pass use from 6-9:30pm
Monday AM (formally Friday AM, but just for summer) 9:30-11:30am June 17, 24, July 8, 22, August 12, 19 The other Tuesday dates are available for open studio 6-pass use from 8:30am-12pm
