This class is only open to students that have taken the Introduction to wheel class and want to continue to build their skills. Students will continue to work on the fundamentals that were introduced in the Introduction to Throwing on the Wheel session.
We will add throwing plates, candle holders, and altering cylinders to the skills learned during this session.
Students will have the option to try slip trailing and sodium silicate.
Glazing will be covered in more detail with more advanced options made available for use.
Class syllabus is subject to change depending on students' goals.
Students typically complete approximately 5 pieces to fire and glaze.
Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, studio tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes.

☀️Summer Super Session: June 17th- August 30th This summer we are offering a flex opportunity for students. Session fee includes attending 6 classes and 6 open studio sessions. An instructor will be available for the following dates: June 17, 24, July 8, 22, August 12, 19 to demo certain forms and help with skill building. The other Monday dates are available for open studio 6 pass use from 6-9:30pm. Lesson demos will be recorded and available to students to use at open studio times if they wish.
